Friedrich07 16 Posted May 20, 2014 So, as the market goes the business and looks like I have to get into rhinestones... Anyways so I intend to cut my templates through a Roland Gx-300 and just not sure if the $300 difference for Roland R-ware software is really going to be worthwhile. Pros I see for R-ware >Familar with overall software (currently I used all rolands on cutstudio and illustrator plugin) Im sure rware will have tweaks but the interface looks the same >Created for rolands so I'd imagine less headaches >Inventory and estimating tools Cons >Not 100% sure if the gx-300 will even work with it (software says designed for gx24 but I am waiting to hear back from Roland on that) >$499 instead of $199 >Doesnt seem like many people use it so Idk if I have issues there will be alot of community support. Any SCALP users out there who do rhinestones? Love to hear some feedback on it, also the software in general if I import .eps files can I convert them into stone designs in the softwares? Clean cutting paths? Overall ease of use? Thanks
