Mh-871 ejecting vinyl

Im wondering what I have set wrong every time I cut from sure cuts its always backs the vinyl backwards and it falls out the back of the machine. I start with about 6" hanging out the front.

Before you send the "cut" command, make sure you either hit the RESET button on the cutter keypad, or set the ORIGIN (Offline button - then press Origin)

How much material do you need foward of the cut head?

Only a small fraction of an inch --- the cutting Origin point can be literally right there near the edge of the vinyl.
