haumana 1,221 Posted March 27, 2008 Since we've been discussion, viewing and critiquing websites lately, I was hoping to find out what software (and version) you guys use and what you feel your experience level is. Here's my info: Macromedia Studio 8 Suite (DW. FW, Flash, FlashPaper, Contribute, etc.): intermediate PhotoShop 6.0 (no laughing!): intermediate Coffee Cup Icon Studio: it's simple program JASC Paintshop Pro 7 (once in a very blue moon): beginner
SmallSigns 23 Posted March 27, 2008 Damn - I thought I was the only one that still used JASC Paintshop Pro 7!!!! Anyway for most of my web design I use Front Page 2003 or just old school HTML.
haumana 1,221 Posted March 27, 2008 I tried the teach myself HTML (bought a few books and went through some of the exercises). I think I have a decent grasp on the applications, but realize that the rules (can/should be embedded, and what can't/shouldn't). I think I've only had to refer to actual code a few times ... because I just couldn't make DW bow to my will! Hahahaha. I give total props to anyone who knows HTML! squelch 0 Posted March 28, 2008 I recently made this website: http://www.t2sunset.com/ using a freeware program called NVu. It s fairly similar to FrontPage. Easy to use once you get the hang of it, with many free templates available. I am looking for a good free shopping cart software if anyone knows one.
JoeCamaro 11 Posted March 28, 2008 I tried NVU once but quit.
