Will not outline some letters...

Recommended Posts

Ok i downloaded a font, and when i try to outline it, for some reason it will not outline some letters, mostly the "E" letter....

The word is LEVEL and it outlines the L's and V's, but will not outline the dam E's....what the heck.

Change the kerning. Spread it out a LOT and see if it still does it.

Try the E's alone and try that.

If the letters are to close it may not like it.

Just a guess.

Whats "kerning"

Tired the E alone, and different sizes...no work.

Its a modified text, i wrote it out, and then vectorized it, and i pulled the center line of the E out to make it the same length as the top and bottom bard...

its called concielian bold..

Spacing of the text.

If you want, post the file. I don't use signblazer, but I can check in corel.

Yeah i just tried cutting it...all came out great except for the E....i cleaned it up alot..and it cut alot nicer and smoother.

what i did was copy and past the good E, and then used it as a background against the other one, made it larger and skewed it out..

Seems to cut alot nicer now...

There was a few "artifacts" in that file after it was traced.

That is what I got rid of in the second file.
