ego10 0 Posted July 20, 2013 I have plugged my cutter into three different computers now and every time the computer tells me it has disabled the USB port because the device(cutter) is drawing too much power. Anyone had this before and know how to fix it?? I have had this in the past but usually goes away if I switch to a different USB port. I have a creation PCUT CT630 and have tried plugging into mac and PC which I have used both before with this machine and had no problems. Thanks

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted July 20, 2013 Try a different USB cable. I have searched a lot and mostly came up with broken cables, broken devices. You can enter that error message into a search engine and come up with a lot of answers. All the questions I saw, all had to do with a Mac. Some one else had a broken cable on some device New USB cable fixed it. Worth a try.
