Need a little help here..

Recommended Posts

Ok, well just like in my photographer, say you dont do something, and friends still ask for something that is outside your area.

And being one to never turn down work, figure to ask for some help here. Either direction on creating the artwork, or a complete sub job out, (which part of it I will have to sub out anyway, as I have not mastered layering yet)

Friend wants to put some mermaid wall art in her daughters room, sent me this shot to show what she is looking for as a idea, only with the mermaid having brown hair.

So, can anyone direct me to the fonts used here, and any mermaid vectors? I have some that are just silhouettes for another wall she wants, but nothing like this one, and if anyone has a link to any sea creatures as well.

I have no problem putting it all together, but will need this one printed out and cut, in removable vinyl, (orcal 631 I thinks) Since her daughter is only 6 and figures will have to change in a year or two as her favorites change...

Thank you!

Ok, well looking through all the stock photo places for vector art, all the vectors I can find for a mermaid not in a color print are to sexy for a 6 year olds room..

So, anyone care to give me a quote on a full color contour cut one?

Or can anyone direct me where to get this mermaid in a vector?

You can buy the vector at the stock photo places usually. Or google for free mermaid vector. As far as fonts go, go to dafonts pick out one you or your customer likes and put with it.

I have many dozens of mermaids, none of which are child-friendly.  For some reason artists think that mermaids are supposed to be sexy - I blame it on horny old sailors.  ;D

Aren't mermaids, by definition, supposed to be showing their breasts?

I recall the movie, Splash, and it drove me absolutely bonkers that they managed to AVOID even a single glimpse of Daryl Hannah's front.  I mean, c'mon,   Boo-Yah!!
