TaterNuts 3 Posted March 13, 2007 although i dont reccomend the use of illustarator as a progam to be used for sign making, i came across this site for ya. Looks interesting. http://www.ndesign-studio.com/resources/tutorials/
thredz 1 Posted March 14, 2007 I agree with Tater.Illustrator is a tough program when it comes to signmaking. If you plan on spending money taking classes on learning the program,it would be a wiser investment to buy a starter version of flexisign or even winpcsign.I don't use winpc, but Tater does and his work looks X-O-lint! TaterNuts 3 Posted March 14, 2007 I dont know what version of flexi you are using, but i would say that I am pretty proficient in using WinPCSign... Winpcsign is capable of doing all your coloring... Im my opinion, I only use sign making programs for making signs, and all others IE. photoshop, illustator, etc. I use strictly for photos. I just think all the extra features that are included in corel, illustrator, inkscape, etc. are pretty much useless when it comes to sign making. These programs will work, but the learning curve i would say is more challenging since you probably dont use half of the functions that are avaliable.
