brother276 0 Posted February 11, 2013 I have a JST62 Sport-Tek Tipped V-Neck Raglan Wind Shirt, it says its 100% polyester. Will siser vinyl work on it? And if so what settings should I use? ( heat & pressure) Thank you

jaybyrd 3,770 Posted February 11, 2013 I have a new client trying to market their athletic brand so I have been doing quite a bit of polyester with siser and haven't had any problems with temp or pressure. When I sublimate on poly temp is around 380 f and never had anything melt yet. As for siser, my press is in celsius 165 c, 15 seconds firm pressure. No problems as yet. And this is also on sport tek products. Jay
kauffman21 32 Posted March 10, 2013 look at the material you are pressing on and look up on google or whatever what the melting temp is....make sure your heat transfer or vinyl can be pressed at the low temp and try not to even get close to the melting temp. I had to do this for a certain type of grocery/carry bag that we sell.
