Flexi 8 and CT630 I noly get one cut and then nothing

Recommended Posts

Hello~

I am running Windows 7 with Flexi 8.6v2 and a CTN-630 Plotter. I can only run one job or two at a time. When I try running another after that, the screen says it printing but nothing is happening with the plotter. I then have to restart my system, then I can print another job or two. I have tried to update the drivers through USCUTTER and Flexi.

I am a school teacher and we use this plotter alot, so needless to say how frusterating it is to keep having to restart the computer in order to print a students job.

I have been looking on this site and trying different suggested remodies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Bob

If your running it on a USB cable, I suggest changing the connection to a serial cable or keyspan adapter. Much better connection.

After you run an order, shut off your cutter, and dump the last order of data. before starting another order.

In Flexi, Go into packet size, in Default job properties and change what ever is there, to 1000kb,

That's the best I have for you. I use Flexistarter,8.6 no problems.
