I have had my cutter for about 6 years now. Today I cannot get it to cut at all. I have tried two different laptops, a serial to USB cable and the regular USB cable that came with the cutter but still nothing. I'm using Signblazer and I have tried each setting under device manager on my laptop (Hardware, none xon xoff). Each time I have tried different laptops, they reconize the connection but won't cut. Looking at the computer screen you would think its cutting but the cutter is as quiet as a mouse.

Can anybody help me here?

will the cutter do a test cut from the machine? Does the com port number match in Signblazer and your devise manager? Work your way thru here.. If that don't help, contact tech support. http://start.uscutter.com/

Thanks for the link. Yes, the cutter does a test cut from the machine just fine and the com port in device manager & in the Signblazer software is set to com 5. Don't know why it won't cut.

I may try re-installing the driver and the Signblazer software again.
