thomasmary 11 Posted November 4, 2012 I tried to shortcut putting decals on a car this weekend. It is 2 layered decals on a car and I have been really busy lately and I thought since they are only text and the biggest one is only 8 X 40 that I would go ahead and layer them then put them on. I was ashamed of how it looked when I was done. It was full of bubbles. So my first thought was, I knew better than doing it like that, but went ahead and done it anyways. Sooooooooooooo, LESSON LEARNED, the hard way. LOL Put the decal on the car one layer at a time. How many use the wet method for both layers, verses first layer dry then the second layer wet?

Bruce@wedosigns 5 Posted November 5, 2012 I do it dry, both layers. Winter, wet with rapid tack 2, it goes to minus 60 here and the only thing to make decals stick in the cold is rapid tack 2. Squegee angle is the best way to eliminate bubbles, wet r dry.
