Preacher35 0 Posted October 29, 2012 Piscespokerbrat, I am curious. What kind of printer are you using to print onto vinyl? Here is why I ask. I build carbon fiber bicycle frames and am sick out outsourcing the graphic and text decals/stickers (the turnaround is terrible and many times, they are not exactly as I want them). Thus, I would like to purchase the laserpoint contour cutter for this purpose. It's relatively low output work on a small scale but some graphics are multi-colored. However, the peeps at USCUTTER are telling me that the only way that I can put the ink onto vinyl is with an $8,000.00 printer! Is this accurate or is there a more cost affective way to do this on a small scale? Any advice is much appreciated.
