haumana 1,221 Posted February 26, 2008 I started out using a regular gripster xacto, then moved over to an xacto retractable ... the retractable blade is a lot sharper and thinner. http://www.widgetsupply.com/page/WS/PROD/X-ACTO-retractable/BDM25 There are some that use regular razor blades, or dental picks. I think it's just a matter of personal preference. I would say if you have a razor or xacto try that first, before spending money some thing you might not need or like. But if you really want a weeding tool(s) or kit, you can always find them on eBay... http://tinyurl.com/2nnkkf http://tinyurl.com/2t7wkd
SmallSigns 23 Posted February 27, 2008 I was hoping someone would come up with a suggestion for an automated weeder!! Wouldn't that be cool.
haumana 1,221 Posted February 28, 2008 I was hoping someone would come up with a suggestion for an automated weeder!! Wouldn't that be cool. I don't think I need to be in the sign business to be the first one to want to stand in line for that! Could you imagine the money a patent on such a device could generate ... that's better than winning the powerball!!! Well, maybe not - at least not if I were the sole winner of one over $200million strong
