MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted August 5, 2012 post one of your files.. You need to convert them back to version 8.eps, Signblazer has not been updated for many years.

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted August 5, 2012 If you are using it from inkscape it should be alright. Sounds like you have a bitmap image instead of a vector then. Did you delete the original file before saving as an .eps file? To upload you click MORE REPLY OPTIONS, next to the POST button.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted August 5, 2012 the file is not a vector file. You did not vectorize the image. Looks like you just saved it as an .eps. That don't work. You have to trace the bitmap first.

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted August 5, 2012 thanks for that when i click update button nothing is displayed any ideas keep playing with the settings,, until you get a display. It takes practice to vector images. Raise the threshold numbers a bit. Or the brightness cutoff. You have to adjust the settings to the image..
chuck37 0 Posted August 5, 2012 the only way i get a image is to click ok each time after up date. done on and saved top image as shown still does not show in sb but shows in cutter. will add the file grafter.eps

MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted August 5, 2012 that one is a vector file, I have no idea why it does not show up. Are you importing the files? You must. You cannot use OPEN,, What do you mean it shows in cutter?

Jay2703 704 Posted August 5, 2012 Are you using File + Import? The first .eps file that you posted opened fine for me. http://screencast.com/t/GmmGsNmXZ Jay
BLUEFIRE9x 1 Posted August 10, 2012 I think I kind of understand the question a bit, I just dont have an answer. I think they mean when they select the import option and you have to pick the file from a list of thumbnails. The thumbnail previews are either black boxes of sometimes say no preview. Jay I noticed in your screencast the thumbnail previews displayed "No preview" or something like that. I myself have been using SB for a while now and all I can say is some of the .eps files are fine and alot of others are just black boxes for a preview. I have always wondered why, but usually just remember the name of the file I want and made my selection. I know to view .eps files in windows yo uhave to have an extension of sorts instailed... ie "Eps viewer" or similar program. Does this have anything to do with the file extensions on a computer or in the SB software its self ?
