Jay2703 704 Posted July 3, 2012 Set your units to mm if not already Set your grid to 50mm x 50mm. Turn on Snap to Grid Create a square Set your vertical dupliacte to 100mm Duplicate your square until you have 550mm width Set your duplicate to 50mm vertical and 50mm horizontal Select and duplicate the column of squares Set your vertical duplicate to 0 and the horizontal to 100mm Duplicate the 2 columns until you have 1750mm length. http://screencast.com/t/Vtlou1s6fn Jay

Jay2703 704 Posted July 3, 2012 Ctrl + D will duplicate what you have selected. It's faster than using the menu.

Dr12volt1338 116 Posted July 3, 2012 What are the steps in Flexi? created a square 50mm by 50mm arrange> step and repeat, select the height by width # of squares. I just did 4x4. Hold shift select the ones I want white, select all, save as a pattern. Now I have a checkered pattern I can create any shape and fill it with that pattern. Have to export it as a .eps to get it to cut for some reason, I'm looking into that now.

I like filling any shape with a pattern. That sounds cool.
Dr12volt1338 116 Posted July 3, 2012 Its a really nice feature...... and you can set the spacing between each square has A LOT of options.
