Illustrator to signblazer?

OK I am saving my work as an .eps in Illustrator.  When I open it in signblazer, all i get is a blank page.  Am i doing something wrong?  I hear that vectormagic will be gone soon so i need to figure this out.  I have version 6.021 with signblazer and CS3 in illustrator. Thanks for the help.

the other thing I have found that works is to highlight and "copy" (ctrl+C) and just paste in signblazer.  sometimes it just shows as a block but if you click one of the resize points it shows up fine.

Is there any way to convert AI files to EPS?  I found a few files online and within this forum that were only posted as AI files.

I tried the saving as "8" & that didn't work for me... any other ideas?

To save as an EPS, you must got to File, then EXPORT as EPS.  Then i would save it as an EPS 8 or lower.  Hope this helps.

If you don't have Illustrator, you can drag and drop it into a Word document then copy and paste it into SignBlazer

why do we have to save as eps 8 i have cs3 and i just save it as eps whats the differnt?
