Just got my plotter in the mail, grounding questions

Just recieved my MH series 14 inch plotter. I've watched the videos and read reviews before buying. One thing I noticed was that everyone always made sure to use the ground wire with the stand. There is no option for a stand with the 14 inch. Do I still need to ground it to something? Maybe look for a table to make it a permanent fixture there?

You might not have to ground it at all. I've had 7 different cutters over the years and never had to ground any of them,and never had any problems.Try it out and see before you worry about it.

I've been using my 365 for 2 years without grounding it and have had no problems.

yeah but only in Texas.Anywhere else it would get wet.

Thanks for the info! I'll try throwing it outside and seeing if those does any good.
