cowboy_1_831 28 Posted February 23, 2012 I just found the image on the net. Then loaded it in SB and started with the oval and made a smaller oval placed it inside the first and punched it out. then made the top and bottom "banners", node edited them to fit on the oval. Then just weld them together. Then it was just a matter of finding the fonts that matched. Then punched them out of the top and bottom. Then mirror the image, cut and apply to the back of the mirror and blast away. And then painted the orange first then the black. Attached is the file if you want it. Thanks for looking. 1903 HD logo.EPS

D.I. Designs 0 Posted March 15, 2012 When you sandblast the backing / silver mirror off dose it pit / eatch the glass?
arty-rc 719 Posted March 15, 2012 When you sandblast the backing / silver mirror off dose it pit / eatch the glass? Yes. You want to etch the glass a little bit so the paint sticks better.
D.I. Designs 0 Posted March 16, 2012 thanks sweet work... I am going to try it soon
cowboy_1_831 28 Posted March 19, 2012 What I have found, so as to not etch the glass deep, is make sure you have a bright light behind the mirror so that as you blast the backing of the mirror off you see the light. This way you only are blasting the backing off, unless you want to make your designs have depth then you just blast more in that area. Hope that helps.
