Heat Press: Do I Need Special Wiring?

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

I'm still considering a Sunie or Stah's Maxx heat press and I can see how high the voltages and amps are on these things. Do I need special wiring in the garage for a heat press? I live in a house built in 1990 in Southern CA, with standard 110 volt. Any different in performance from the 110v compared to the 240v?

Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

no.All you need is a dedicated circuit that is rated for the proper amperage. My house was built in 1919,and I have no problems.
