Trouble with signblazer and illustrator

When I create a vector drawing in illustrator (eps file) and import it into signblazer it puts the drawing into peices and cuts everything seperately. It has never done this before. I have tried grouping the drawing etc with no luck HELP Also the links for the updates signblazer do not work for me.

you need to flatten the layer in AI and make sure you save it in illustrator 8 format.

I am using illustrator 10. The other problem I experience is that it always cuts an extra outline. I have my stroke on 3 and no fill.
