Does it really last? Sounds like fun but I can't see it staying there for long?

Its completely protected. Will last there as long as anywhere else as long as brake dust does not eat it up. Just dont use elcheapo pads.

Completely protected? Mud, snow, ice, water, sand, and all at high speed. I'm amazed this works. If I had any rims that didn't look like they almost survived the Iraq war, I'd try it just to see for myself :D

i made some up and popped them on the kids' dirt bikes..

As long as you clean the rim (the outer lip of the rim) well, they stick on quite well..

Ebay is flooded with vinyl rim stickers/stripes.
