cuincolor 0 Posted January 24, 2008 I am looking at making stencils that need to last for a long time. I have a MH721 cutter and was wondering if anyone out there has cut stencils and what type of material that they used? Any help would be awesome.... Thanks in advance to all!!!! Beardown 0 Posted January 24, 2008 what are the stensils for?
slopchops 1 Posted January 24, 2008 The sandblast material will make a pretty descent stencil and use the stencil font. You just have to slow your cutter way down to get a descent cut. I never checked whether you can buy it without the sticky back but if thats the problem you can always kill the glue by dumping talcum powder over it. cuincolor 0 Posted January 25, 2008 Thanks for the ideas. The stencils are for a trucking company that wants to stencil stuff on the inside of their trailers. They really want a stencil that says their name on it plus numbers 0-9. Again this forum is great for new people like myself.
ff-extreme 6 Posted January 31, 2008 Anyone have any advice on what to use for a stencil used in airbrush tattooing I want it to be reusable
slopchops 1 Posted January 31, 2008 Oh boy, I read at one of the suppliers that they have a magnetic sheeting that you can run through a computer cutter. This would be flexible, great for cars/trucks and curved surfaces. Check their sites and ask them. Mumpower, Feller's or Ordway.
