lawman12 3 Posted April 10, 2011 Hello everyone, As you can see I am new here. I have been reading a few posts and asking for help on a few things. I am wanting to expand from just doing vinyl to doing T-Shirts, hats, and mugs. Now what I need to know is what would you guys suggest, equipment-wise. I cannot afford the best, nor do I want the cheapest made. I have looked on ebay and see these 4-in-1 and 6-in-1 presses. Are they any good? Do I need a certain printer or ink to make the transfers? Should I attempt screen printing? ECT....... Any advice from all of you guru's would help out a lot. Thanks in Advance. Bruce
screenprintr 319 Posted April 13, 2011 I've only heard bad things from the 4 and 1 or 6 and 1 heat presses.
Rodger 527 Posted April 13, 2011 I have had a 6 in 1 for about 3 years . I paid $200 delivered . It does what I want & have not needed to get a bigger unit . That is the only complaint I have ... small decals only . Dakota just posted about some stuff he bought to resell ... a heat press is 1 of them . You need heat transfer vinyl . You cut the image in " mirror ' with a vinyl cutter & heat press it onto a T-Shirt etc . nothing else needed .
