Easiest way to do layered text?

U'll be hearing a lot from me! I want to do lettering with a different vinyl background. It can't be as hard as I seem to be making it. There has to be an easier/faster way to do it.....obviously, Im a beginner......any help is welcome!!

might want to give a little more info on what you're trying to accomplish...

But multi-colored lettering isn't that difficult. Just learn how to use alignment marks.

You may also want to check out youtube, there are a ton of videos on vinyl..
