Creakhead 0 Posted January 12, 2008 Hey, I was looking for some advice on cutting fonts. Or maybe its some more general settings. I have been trying to cut some text but the letters are about 1" high and the cuts don't seem to meet cleaning from the start of the letter to the end. Especially for letters like A and B, the inside cuts almost never meet up and then when i weed them they get little divits in there, not very clean looking. I thought maybe from reading on this board that I need to set the offset cuting in signblazer. I have tried it set to 0 .1 .25 .3 all seem to have the same results. I even tried slowing down the print speed from 60 to 40 to 30. All have about the same results. :bang: Anyone have any ideas on how to get ride of these cades? Thanks so much I have a PCUT 24"
Popeye 0 Posted January 12, 2008 A couple suggestions... Use .25 offset make sure the blade spins freely in the cutter and it's sharp and clean
Creakhead 0 Posted January 12, 2008 Wow after reading around in the PCUT forum there was a thread on my exact issue, this morning I tried putting some oil in the print head, and put the same blade back in. I can't believe how much better it cuts now! :woohoo: Thanks!
