Luvmydane 1 Posted December 15, 2010 I have a 24: Pcut that I have had for a year and I use signblazer with it. I went to cut something today and I get a message saying "Cannot open the output device. Error initializing cutter." When I have got this message in the past I would just turn my computer off and then back on and it would be resolved, but it hasn't worked today. Any ideas? Thank you for your assistance. Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted December 15, 2010 if using the usb cord two things to try - first use a back panel connector if it is a desktop as the power seems more reliable direct to the motherboard (if laptop no idea as I see a lot of problems with laptops and cutters) second try another usb cable if serial make sure the software is set for the right port Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
