Make an image one solid color.

This is something that i cant figure out.  After you import and image can you make it one solid color with just a few clicks?  i did a yahoo search but cant find anything or maybe im not searching the right words.  any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think all you need to do is highlight your image then go to path trace bitmap when the box comes up put a check mark in grays....

well the thing is i was trying to convert the image to all black before tracing to see if i can get it to trace the lines a little better.

1. Load your image into Ifanview.

2. Hit the Image, now hit the Decrease the color depth, check the 2 color and hit OK.

3. Hit file and save as .Jpg or .Tif.

    ( I prefer .Tif )

4. Now Import this image into Inkscape.

5, Trace image as 2 colors, in briteness cutoff.

6. Now drag the trace image over the Bitmap image and delete the Bitmap image.

7. You now have a Black and White image.
