mod22 0 Posted November 2, 2010 Does cold storage really bother oracal 651 vinyl ,I picked up some nice cabinets for the garage but it is not always heated.I would like to get some of the mess out of the house until i need it. I know I would need to let it heat up before use but other than that is there any other problems .
bayshorecreations 30 Posted November 3, 2010 Depends on how cold you are talking about? Where do you live, antarctica, Miami or somewhere in between?

bayshorecreations 30 Posted November 4, 2010 I would try to get it inside the house for storage over the winter, vinyl gets very brittle when it gets cold.
Jay2703 704 Posted November 4, 2010 Humidity will be another issue if you bring it in from the cold. Moisture will condense on the cold vinyl.
BannerJohn 1,324 Posted November 4, 2010 My shop before I came here wasn't heated at night. It frequently got well below freezing. I never noticed any difference in the vinyl. I wouldn't worry about it.
