measuring problems

for the last two day i been trying to cut some decals.

i put the vinyl and push the  measure button and it start feeding the vinyl  but instead of stopping it throws it out and the feed rollers keep spinning. does any one know how to fix or why this is happening?

Be sure you are placing the vinyl so it will pass across the photo cell "eyes"  -- if you have it in the right place I would suspect the photo cell may be defective.  Hope this helps -- if not give more info and somebody else may have a better idea what's going on.

And sometimes if the material is not laying perfectly flat, say maybe it bows up a little, the "eye" may not notice it.

I have also experienced this if the backer on the vinyl is too dark to reflect light back to the cutter sensor.
