nav255 0 Posted September 14, 2010 I am trying to figure out how I can use glyphs with flexistarter/windows. I hope I am asking this in a way that makes sense...I just downloaded a new font and it has special characters that I am dying to use but I can't figure out how. Thank you! nav255 0 Posted September 14, 2010 The font is "Sheila" - it is there but there is a character map (glyphs) that are included but I can't figure out how to use them...or if I can use them with flexi.

nav255 0 Posted September 14, 2010 I could totally be using the wrong terminology! I am looking at the this character chart... http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/laura-worthington/sheila/sheila/characters.html But I suppose my question is really for any font that has these extra characters. MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 14, 2010 The Sheila I found, was not that one. not sure, don't you have some kind of a read me for the font? What happens if you use the cap button and those numbers? It surely has to do something with those numbers. sorry.
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 14, 2010 nice little video.....learned something myself. I don't know if that can be copied to Flexi or not. Or vectorized, maybe someone else has the real answer to this. http://www.5min.com/Video/How-to-Use-the-Character-Map-in-Windows-210064165
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 14, 2010 this is in character map overview. found something else, see if this does anything... WITH NUMBER LOCK ON, HOLD DOWN THE ALT KEY while using the number pad key of the character you want.
nav255 0 Posted September 14, 2010 Still not working...I was able to pull up the character map for this font but it has a lot of blanks. But, I can't even get the ones that are listed on there to pull up using alt+the assigned number.
