How to I get Vinyl to stick to object instead of transfer tape?

Hey everyone,

I have a Copam cutter that I'm starting to learn how to use. It is cutting nicely, but I cannot get my vinyl pieces transferred to the object I wish to mask. I have Oramask 810 for vinyl, and R-Tape AT-41 transfer tape. The vinyl just sticks to the transfer tape and will not let go...

If the AT-41 is too strong - go with a lower tack transfer tape - or a different vinyl (stronger adhesive on vinyl)

If it is just hard to work with it I have had luck by pulling the transfer tape back over itself - 180 degrees and letting the fingers of my other hand ride along the fold back line of the app tape - pressing down with a little friction in the direction I am pulling the app tape - -careful to watch that the vinyl is staying down - it is a pain in the butt.

QUESTION: What type of application tape should you use with ProGrade

Make sure you are removing the paper backing on the vinyl too.
