JAGGED EDGES ON PLAIN TEXT

Recommended Posts

I just cut a quote and it came out fine...then I cut the same exact quote (same size and font) a second time and the edges are completely jagged!  The decal looks terrible...so I just wasted 5 feet of vinyl.  Can anyone tell me why this would happen?

if it worked right the first time I really don't know -  contact usc - could it be some electrical interference

I am seeing a lot of comments and questions about if the cutters are grounded, because of static. What is the best way to do This?

After posting this I did some digging around too and saw alot of comments about being "grounded".  i would also like to know the best way to do this...since I don't know how to do this I am sure it is not.  The decal I cut was 5 feet long so I could see how static could build up.  Thanks so much for any help offered!

Thanks so much for the info!  The machine is now grounded and I just ran 6 feet of vinyl through with no problems.

Grounding the stand is a necessity on the MH cutters.

Glad you were able to get this resolved!
