sleeper 0 Posted December 10, 2007 I used to have trouble aligning the decal to the sign board when making signs. Now all I do is make a weed box the same size as the sign and leave the excess vinyl on when I mask the lettering. This way I can use the weed box to align the decal with the edges of the board. Hope this makes sense?
jayben03 0 Posted December 10, 2007 Thanks that helps out a lot. I can use this method not only for signs but also for any decal that I am planning to do for windows or side panels for cars. Thanks again so much! :you rock:
go hodags 0 Posted January 27, 2008 Being new to this, I have to ask if there is more waste this way? I realize that it may be worth the extra waste, just wondering if that is true?

Yes - that method creates much more waste than necessary. Easy way for graphic alignment though, for the newbie without a mentor/experienced sign person on hand in person to demo more efficient way.
