lbrady 0 Posted April 26, 2010 I am new to the vinyl cutters and need some advice. I have my own home embroidery business and want to expand my monograms with the vinyl. I have seen where you can do vinyl monograms for cars, acrylics, metal buckets and lots more. I really don't know what cutter to get, and don't want to spend a fortune. Any advice would help. Dakotagrafx 7,298 Posted April 26, 2010 Welcome aboard. Most any cuttter will do what you want - the cheaper cutters just take more set up to get a clean cut. first really good cutter I got was a copam and the graphtec is worlds better than that, but with that said the p-cut and mh series refine paid for the others to upgrade
hockeygirl 30 Posted April 26, 2010 Welcome from CA. Most of us started with a cheaper cutter and upgraded along the way. If you have the money to drop on a nicer cutter, I'd recommend it. Otherwise, with a little more work and time, you can get by with any cutter.

RDR Grafix 3 Posted May 18, 2010 Welcome from NY. U should start with a cheaper cutter and learn and once you get good at it youll be making enough money to upgrade.
