This is on WOOT and it looks like a cool little tool.

I was wondering it anyone has experience with it? or any input before I buy it.

It does look cool and for $45 I just might get 1 have to buy today to get it though.

I think it would work on a desk top also.

I am thinking about getting one. I might attach it to a clipboard and use that to trace artwork that a customer gives me.

Looks interesting - I'm still getting to know my Intuos tablet - and got too much computer stuff (wife's words last night still fresh in my little pea brain) -- so I must not order - I must not order - I must not order - there I think I killed the urge.

I built the exact same thing with a Nintendo Wii remote as the infrared receiver. I project mine in my classroom for a "homemade" interactive smartboard.

I've been using a Graphire pen/tablet combo for about 6 years now ....love it ...but it does take some time to get used to ..I find that I need to zoom in alot further for detail work than if I would have used a mouse or track ball .
