How to make the out line thicker in inkscape...

Recommended Posts

I got my image imported and ready to cut. But when I cut the sticker the out line around it is way to thin. How can I make that thicker so it will weed out and stick?

I tryed to import it into SB but when I do all I get is a solid back ground with no out line...

Thanks

I don't have a cutter however, have you tried to change the width in the stroke style dialog box?

i dont believe stroke style will not change the cutting area -- if you have a stroke of .1 inch it will cut in the middle if you have a stroke of 1 inch it will still cut in the middle

stroke is just a single cut it isnt cutting one both sides of the stroke

well thats how it is  for me but my stuff is a little diffrent than most

what i did

i couldnt do anything with the eps or pdf you gave me

so i took the jpeg vectored it and copy paste it - so i had 2 vectors on the same page

then del all the nodes of the letters of one and del all the vectors of the border of the other

then pu them back together and clicked on the border High liight it - then clicked ctrl+shift+) to make it thicker if its not thick enough just do it some more

again sorry it took so long thanks
