Image huge when pasted in SB

When I have a image that I have traced the bitmat in inkscape and then copy and paste it to SB, the image is huge and I have to keep adjusting it to make it fit to my workspace.  Am I doing something wrong is there an easier way to do it?

You can try this:

At the bottom of the SB window you'll find the properties bar - click inside one of the 'Size' number fields and change it to something more manageable, then View->Zoom All to see everything, drag your image back to the work area, then back to View->Zoom Work Area.
