First thank you for the help and Dakota the picture might look funny but the paint is smooth it has what looks like a  clearcoat with a metalflake in it over the top so maybe that is what you are seeing.now I have to go home and check it out to see if it is mirrorlens  or the  turned.

I just used the silver mirrror LENS on a sprint car number outline(looks awesome), the engine turn is more rounded and overlaps, where in the pic you posted shows the squares that reflect, I don't think you would see the parallel horozontal line in engine turn
