BannerJohn 1,324 Posted February 9, 2010 Good choice of machine,but curious to why you ordered all 'high tack' tape? I almost never use anything but medium tack. And the same goes for almost everyone I know. High Tack is not even recommended for wet application at all. But judging from the fact that most of the tape is clear, I assume you won't be doing much wet application anyway. I also noticed that there are no squeegees on that order. mod22 0 Posted February 9, 2010 BannerJohn, I read in a few places on this board that the at60 was more of a medium tack but maybe I made a mistake is there a clear and paper that works well for you and is it better to use wet app. or dry app. with reg. marks will the high tack work at all for me or not . BannerJohn 1,324 Posted February 9, 2010 I use R Tape Conform mostly but also Perfect Tear tape..both medium tack paper tape. I keep a roll of clear tape here for decals that I ship out. I always use paper tape for banners, coroplast,etc. The high tack tape should be OK for you when doing dry apps, just be careful when pulling it. For the newbee, I recommend wet app at first,esp with layering. You don't get a second chance with dry application,and dry takes a lot of practice to get it right,without bubbles.
