TSQUIRTZ 0 Posted January 13, 2010 Does anyone know how to replace the cutter protection strip an a Roland GX 24 ? How bad does it have to be before it warrants replacement? Thanks! Robert
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted January 13, 2010 not positive but I think it is similar to the graphtec. basically a teflon strip held down by a butyl type substance. this is one area the cheaper cutters are easier. took me an hour to do my graphtec to get the goo off and put the new one on
Rodger 527 Posted January 13, 2010 There is a thread/post somewhere in here that gives 10 easy fixes . 1 I liked was putting reflective vinyl over the cutting strip to repair it . I have never done it yet , but a couple members said it worked great .
