gilmore444 0 Posted December 26, 2009 I was given a couple of 30" rolls of vinyl. My cutter is only 24". I need to cut them down. What is the best way to do it without destroying the new rolls. (Does the vinyl melt together if I use a chop saw to cut it?) Thanks for your help.
jdxnc 0 Posted December 26, 2009 I've done it with a chop saw, I only have a 12" cutter, so I have to cut every roll. Wrap where you want to cut with several layers of masking tape, the cut through it, goes pretty good. On a small roll I just use a good shard knife and around the roll.
