Cuts start/end Curly - Don't Connect

Strange new problem.  I've been using my MH-871 since July without any problems.  A couple weeks ago, the cuts started getting strange.  Anywhere a cut starts/ends, it cuts a little curl, and the ends don't connect.  So, when I'm weeding, there is always a small tear where the cut was incomplete.

I checked the obvious.  Nothing stuck in the blade holder.  Blade turns freely in holder. Removed blade and replaced it a couple times - nothing found.  Blade offset is correct at .25 mm as recommended on the packaging.  I put a little oil on the blade shaft to make sure it can spin freely.  I've replaced the blade a few times since July.  Currently using a 60 degree Roland.

Any ideas?

I fixed it.  Tried a new blade today, and it cut perfect.

I have heard as a blade wears the offset will change ever so slightly - by that time I have already changed the blade though!

I think that I had a bad blade.  Ever have that happen?  My problems started about the same time that I put that blade in.
