Flexi Pro & contour cutting

I have a Copam and a pcut and have my Flexi installed.

My first of many questions is.......

can either of my cutters contour cut using Flexi or do I need a contour cutter like the LP or Graphtec?

Can Flexi Pro make any cutter a contour cutter?

I honestly don't know if it'll work or not, but you can try it and see.

You can contour cut in Flexi using any cutter.......you manually allign the registration marks........from the effects menu select contour cut and specify wether you want to cut inside/on or outside the edge of whatever you want to cut......when you print it make sure that you specify how many registration marks you want ( I find 4 is most accurate).

After printing load into your cutter and from your print/cut manager send the cut file ....simply follow the on screen instructions to allign the print ( easier with a pen fitted)

For some reason the Copam will not contour cut. I don't know if any one on here has done it with the Copam. I tried it several times with Flexi and was unsuccessful, however with Graphtec no problem at all. Therefore it is plotter not the software.

What model Copam are you using... In fact what color is your Copam?

I have the CP2500. It is the cream & teal. I just bought it last January.
