Anyone know why I can't make this larger?

I'm sure I'm just doing something wrong, but when I make this larger, 18", the white center of the "OHIO STATE" Doesn't get larger along with the rest of the vector.  Thanks for any insight!

Just "select all" (under edit menu) and then "group" (under arrange menu) then it will all be sized together.

You can Select All then use Arrange + Combine too. It will turn the white into a cutout.

So, how exactly would I go about nixing the white on this logo? I'd like to make it just a cut out to minimize colors
