BannerJohn 1,324 Posted November 23, 2009 when Flexi (rarely) fails, Inkscape usually works for me.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted November 23, 2009 playing with corel x4 that I am not to familiar with and came up with this accident I kind of like, just would need to cut the center of the a and r out
YadirellT 0 Posted November 24, 2009 If you're really having trouble getting the center to cut out, you can also just layer another line right into there manually. It looks like if you were to try and weed out the middle, most outline programs would also drop that shadow. So basically, you have two things you can do. Create that hole yourself by making the vector for it. Or you can make a copy of this image, re-vector without the shadow. And then break it apart and just take the interior of those letters and combine it with the original vectors. not sure if that's actually what you're wanting or not. tekcorps 50 Posted November 24, 2009 I tested it to see how it worked. I added .005 offset space and then adjusted outline setting and it worked fine. Outline is jagged like font but looks cool and matches well.
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted November 24, 2009 was trying to get a smooth outline - that's where the trouble is
sarconastic 29 Posted November 24, 2009 Here's a quick one I did in Flexi. Could be smoothed out pretty easily. Use the outline but set it to contour, then all backs closed on boxes. kevin
