may0024 0 Posted November 7, 2009 I sell RTA for indoor walls and have been using RTape Clear Choice. I applied some at a friend's house and it took some of the paint off of the walls!! Anyone else have this issue? I really like how it adheres to the 631 vinyl and that it is clear. I ordered a sample of the HT55, but it is not clear. Are there any other clear tapes that would work? mr300s 1,272 Posted November 7, 2009 Just a guess but it was probably on their end that the paint came off they either used a cheap paint or didn't prep their walls good, which if that is the case no matter what tape you use it will stick to it?? JoeDirt 5 Posted November 12, 2009 I just bought for the first time Rtape AT-42 clear and holy sh*t that stuff sticks, removes from vinyl ok but it was the strongest clear I have ever used. anyway I used 4076 for wall vinyl and it worked great but not clear.
