Spidermurphy 0 Posted October 11, 2009 Hi everyone, I am just starting out with cutting vinyl. I will mostly be selling graphics/words for walls and know I will be using Oracal 631 for this application. I also want to put these on glass and perhaps the aluminum products (license plates, signs etc). Can someone advise which oracle product I should use for these applications. Indoor use only. Jay2703 704 Posted October 11, 2009 I would go with Oracal 651. It is a good all purpose 5 year vinyl.
WallysWallWords 0 Posted October 11, 2009 indoor 641 or 651, but if it's outdoors use 751 or in 3 or 4 years you'll have unhappy customers. if i've learned anything in 7 years working at a sign shop it's that calendered looks good for about half the time they say it will outdoors. especially if it's on a vehicle, but you can still use 651 for little stickers on glass and stuff since most people take them off after a year anyways, but if you do some construction guy's truck you better use 751.
