export!! 0 Posted October 8, 2009 Can I install a printer driver for a CT-630 so that I can plot drawings from say, Adobe Reader? I've got a large technical drawing originally done in Illustrator and I have it in PDF. I tried (sucessfully) to convert it to an EPS and then imported it into Signblazer. It brings my computer to it's knees and I end up having to ctrl-alt-del to kill SB. I'd love to be able to print/plot right from another program though a regular printer driver. I tried a HPGL driver and it didn't work. I'm connected via COM1 true serial port if it matters. Thanks!
CRD 9 Posted October 10, 2009 There are no printer drivers available for this type of plotter. Although the plotter uses HPGL code to plot you need plug ins like Signcut to directly plot the files from vector design programs like Corel draw or Illustrator from Adobe or inkscape(free) Probably your PDF is converted to a BITMAP .EPS file not and VECTOR .EPS file.
