Refine (Bridge Pro720) Parallel cable pinout

Recommended Posts

Was recently given a Bridge Pro720 (same as Refine I understand) from my Brother-in-law.He had it for 2 year or so and could never make it work. He gave me only a USB cable which I tried and I also could not get the cutter to work. I desperately need the pinout for the parallel connection so I can try to get this cutter working. Any help from you folks out there would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.....

You will have better luck with serial cable, I believe it is a null modem cable.

your might get more help here,, the Bridge company,

http://bridgecutters.com/

I like the way they set it up with a page that tells you step-by-step how to set the cutters up, with pics. HINT to USC.

Ok Picked up a null modem adapter at the Shack(all they had) and attached it to  a 9 pin strait serial cable I had.

Serial port is on Com 1 Baud rate 9600 ,Artcut also set to Com 1 Baud rate 9600.

Tried to print the test but nothing happens Also tried the Baud settings at 4800 still nothing.

Maybe not a standard null setup? Anyone have any info on this?

Thanks

It finally works...... Thanks so much

It came with Artcut so I was trying both Artcut and Signgo Lite.

Your setting did the trick although not in Artcut.

Now software suggestions......

I would like something reasonable in price as this is strickly for personal use.

Again thanks to all who gave me suggestions!!!!!!!!
