mailman 1 Posted September 10, 2009 I have been hand lettering signs for 25 years or so, I am a little confused, if I purchase a 24" cutter and my type is say 2" in height and 36" long , can I turn my type 90deg. and cut. I hope I explained this clearly. Thanks, Mark
bamafan2277 50 Posted September 10, 2009 Yes you can cut a 2" letters 36" long. With a 24" cutter you can cut up to 24" high if you rotate the letters 90 degrees. And you can in theroy cut up to the lenth of your vinyl but it takes time to get the cutter tracking perfectly for long cuts. Anything up to 3 or 4 feet usually cut real well. longer stuff may take some tweaking to get your tracking perfectly

mabscotthandyman 1,410 Posted September 29, 2009 your cutter software will show or ask what direction to cut very simple to switch back and forth Dan
